Musicianship 1: Method book for the Beginning/Elementary Pianist

The Musicianship series is comprised of theory lessons coordinated with drills in rhythm, technic, and ear training, which are then applied to short pieces to ensure understanding.  Throughout the course, no two adjacent pieces are in the same key, meter, phrase structure, character, or historical style.

Musicianship 1 introduces intervals, accidentals, duplet and triplet rhythm, using a metronome, major and minor thirds and pentachords, triads, five basic phrase forms, posture, pitch, and vocabulary.  Overall the series promotes intelligent thinking, better coordination of body and mind, power of concentration, and emotional enrichment.
