Description
These Six Sonatinas not only provide early intermediate students with an ideal introduction to this venerable form, but they also develop a growing awareness of how to enjoy discovering the individual character of each movement. This makes playing each sonatina in its entirety an important step in developing how to interpret and relate musical components between movements. This process invites students to use each analytical approach to music already learned. This adventure of ramifying what is learned accounts for the progress and enjoyment that students and teachers discover through studying the works of Jon and Mary Gae George.
